What's useful to know before you give
Does my donation really reach the charity?
Yes. Chashmeh acts only as a lawful intermediary. Every dollar you send, after transparent bank transaction fees, moves directly to the charity's account.
How long does it take for the donation to reach the charity?
Typically 3 to 7 business days, depending on banking conditions that day. A detailed report is emailed to you after a successful transfer.
Does the Foundation take a percentage of my donation?
No. Chashmeh is a non-profit. Only the real bank transaction cost — shown transparently — is deducted from the amount.
Can I donate anonymously?
Yes. Australian legal requirements mean we must hold your identity, but you can remain anonymous in the report sent to the charity.
How do you verify the integrity of listed charities?
Every charity is reviewed for legal, financial, and operational integrity before being listed. We request registration documents, financial reports, and samples of work.
